Jordan Brand’s football dominance marches on with the unveiling of one of the brand’s most recognized silhouettes. The Air Jordan 11 “Black Patent” Cleats translate the hardwood legend into a streamlined performance design engineered for speed and power. Rather than reinvent the formula, the cleat nods to the model’s DNA with a more disciplined, blackout take.

The upper is constructed in a glossy black patent leather covering, finished with black laces and molded black spike plate. Silver Jumpman logos adorn the tongue and ankle areas, along with a silver “23” on the heel. The intentional use of silver provides a restrained contrast to the all-black design, further emphasizing the formal edge that the original Air Jordan 11 brought to the game.

The design is a callback to player exclusives worn by Jalen Hurts, a key figurehead in Jordan Brand’s football campaign. Overall, the execution here feels cleaner and more intentional than previous PE releases, with the simplicity allowing the patent leather to make a statement without additional detailing.

On the field, the cleat emphasizes traction and stability while staying true to the lines that we’ve come to know from the Air Jordan 11. It’s a great example of how Nike is slowly but surely bridging the gap between basketball history and football’s current needs.

The Air Jordan 11 “Black Patent” Cleats will be available January 11, 2026 at select Jordan Brand retail partners and Nike.com for $225.
