Better Air Jordan 1 Satin: “Bred” or “Royal”

Jordan Brand dropped a pair of limited Air Jordan 1 Satin releases in two popular color blockings, “Bred” and “Royal” during 2016 and 2017, respectively.

The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Satin Bred” received a special surprise release only at a pop-up shop in New York City on October 18th, 2016 and was limited to only 501 individually numbered pairs. Its full satin build was inspired by the classic Air Jordan “Flight Suit” warm-up outfit worn by Michael Jordan in 1985.

Jordan Brand repeated itself in 2017 with the launch of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Satin Royal” limited to 700 pairs. However, instead of releasing at the pop-up shop in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood, the “Satin Royal” launched exclusively at Atlanta’s retailer Walters and Houston’s Active Athlete 88 – two of the oldest Jordan accounts.
