Without ever being associated with Bulls colors, “Royal” has always been on equal footing. Introduced as one of the five original colorways in 1985, Royal helped define the Air Jordan 1’s identity and has since been an integral part of its evolution and eventual transcendence beyond the basketball court and into the streets.
