The Air Jordan 1 OG Bred 2016 release date is set to return this Fall 2016 as a remastered release from Jordan Brand that’s scheduled to retro during Labor Day weekend.
This Air Jordan 1 receives the traditional “Banned” aka “Bred” color scheme of Black and Red that’s built with a full premium leather upper and rests atop a clean White midsole and Red rubber outsole. Some of the notable features to this release includes ‘Nike Air’ branding on the tongue and insole. The release will not include the ‘X’ detailing on the heel that was seen on the original “Banned” release from 2011.
