The “Obsidian” colorway is one of a few iconic blockings from Jordan Brand that resulted in some classic releases.

Debuted back in 1997 with the release of the Air Jordan 12 “Obsidian” colorway, which was last seen in 2012. It features an Obsidian upper with White leather overlays, Metallic Silver upper eyelets, and University Blue contrasting accents.
Released back in 2019, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Obsidian” was a nod to Michael Jordan’s UNC alma mater. It comes constructed in a traditional all-leather build featuring a White base with University Blue and Obsidian overlays.
