Air Jordan 1 Mid “X-Ray” Releases December 2024

Published on

Jordan Brand is set to release a special edition Air Jordan 1 Mid for kids, inspired by Michael Jordan’s iconic 1985 foot injury. This injury kept him sidelined for much of his rookie season. The design echoes the Nike Kobe 5 “X-Ray”, incorporating skeletal foot imagery into the sneaker’s key elements.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid “X-Ray” features x-ray graphics on the toe box, mid-foot, and ankle collar. These details bring a fresh twist to the classic design. The outsole and insole also display skeletal imagery, along with the motivational phrase, “Even the best get hurt.” This subtle message adds depth to the sneaker’s design, reminding young athletes to push through adversity.

Bold crimson tongue labels provide a striking contrast, while a large “23” on the ankle pays homage to Jordan’s legendary jersey number. Black leather overlays add structure to the shoe, while icy translucent soles complete the look, combining a playful theme with timeless Jordan 1 style.

The kids-exclusive Air Jordan 1 Mid “X-Ray” is set to release on December 20, 2024. You can find them at select Jordan Brand retailers, both in-store and online, including Nike.com.

For young sneakerheads, this release is more than just another drop—it’s a blend of style and story, celebrating Michael Jordan’s resilience. Be sure to mark your calendars and grab a pair for the young athlete in your life.
