The Air Jordan 1 Mid “UNC” is set to return in a clean new makeup for Summer 2026, and the familiar color palette should grab plenty of attention. Dressed in University Blue, White, Sail, and Midnight Navy, the pair leans into that classic Tar Heels feel while giving the mid-top silhouette a sharper finish.

University Blue takes over the leather overlays, covering the mudguard, eyestay, collar, and heel with a bright pop that instantly drives the theme home. White lands on the toe box and side panels, which keeps the upper looking crisp and balanced. That simple blocking helps the shoe feel easy to wear, especially for anyone who likes Air Jordan 1 colorways that do not try to do too much.

Midnight Navy adds the contrast and allows the sneaker to have a little tougher attitude. You’ll find the darker hue on the Swooshes, collar, heel detail, outsole and even the Wings logo. I like the added depth versus an all blue colorway. The white laces and tongue allow the front of the shoe to stay simple and clean. While the navy tongue tag and inner lining bring together the darker elements of the shoe.

High res photos reveal a full smooth leather build, giving this pair a clean look from head to toe. A white midsole with a light Sail-style touch also helps soften the color blocking just enough without changing the familiar Air Jordan 1 Mid look.
