Air Jordan 1 Mid Nods To MJ’s NCAA Championship Winning Shot

When Michael Jordan was a freshman with the North Carolina Tar Heels, he hit the game-winning shot against Georgetown to win the 1982 National Championship.

As a nod to that iconic jumper, Jordan Brand will be releasing a special edition Air Jordan 1 Mid that comes with illustrated graphics remembering that moment. Other details includes a backboard-like motif as the tongue labels with the tongues resembling the net of a basketball rim with weave overlays. The rest of the shoe is dressed in the UNC colors.
