The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE “Black/Varsity Red” marks Jordan Brand’s newest iteration of fan favorite “Bred” color blocking. Building on the “Bred,” “Bred Toe,” and “Patent Bred” legacies, this shoe combines elements of both of its predecessors into a single, highly accessible silhouette.

Patent leather overlays in signature Varsity Red rest on a black and white leather base that exudes a familiar Bulls-era feel. Meanwhile, a red outsole, Swoosh, and Jumpman tongue logo provide additional layered contrast throughout.

While this release isn’t a Retro High OG, it still captures the same energy, especially for those who are after an easier to obtain version.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE “Black/Varsity Red” will release Fall 2025 at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com with a $135 USD price tag.
