The Air Jordan 1 remains a top sneaker in 2025, thanks to the “Unbannable” campaign and the return of the original “Bred” colorway. Adding to the excitement, Jordan Brand is releasing the Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Irregular Shadow” in Summer 2025. This release revives a rare 1985 sample with a modern touch.

This special edition flips the traditional black and grey color blocking of the “Shadow” Air Jordan 1. It features an asymmetrical design inspired by an early prototype from Jordan Brand’s archives. The sneaker also includes a muslin, faux-aged midsole, marking the first time an aged aesthetic appears on a High ’85 model. This unique touch enhances its nostalgic appeal, connecting it directly to the 1985 era.

Hiroshi Fujiwara, a longtime collaborator with Jordan Brand, was among the first to showcase this highly anticipated release, further solidifying its status as a must-have for collectors and sneaker enthusiasts alike.
