Michael Jordan’s business ventures continue to extend beyond basketball, and his entry into the spirits industry has quietly inspired one of the rarest sneaker creations tied to his legacy. In 2019, Jordan joined forces with fellow NBA team owners, including Jeanie Buss and Wes Edens, to launch Cincoro Tequila—a premium brand born from a shared vision developed over dinner conversations years earlier. Given Jordan Brand’s history of connecting business moves to footwear, it’s no surprise this partnership eventually translated into an exclusive Air Jordan 1 concept.
The result is an extremely limited run of Air Jordan 1 PEs designed specifically for the five Cincoro founders. While exact production numbers remain unclear, reports suggest only around ten pairs of the High version were made, with the Low rumored to be a one-of-one. These pairs were never intended for retail, reinforcing their status as collector-level pieces.
Design-wise, the sneakers reflect the luxury identity of the tequila brand. Premium black suede and glossy patent leather dominate the upper, while subtle snowflake-style patterns add texture across different panels. Gold detailing is used throughout, appearing on the heel, tongue, lace dubraes, and tips, mirroring the upscale presentation of Cincoro bottles.
This Air Jordan 1 “Cincoro Tequila” PE set remains firmly in the realm of exclusivity, with no plans for a public release. Pairs have surfaced through private sellers @bear_town_sneaks and @davidsgrails, both currently accepting offers from interested buyers.
