UPDATE Jan. 29th: The Air Jordan 1 “Chinese New Year” that was said to be a special edition release to celebrate the Chinese New Year from Jordan Brand is actually a really well-done custom by The Remade. As of right now there is no word on whether Jordan Brand will release a special edition silhouette as a nod to the Chinese New Year.

Jordan Brand appears to have celebrated the Chinese New Year with a special designed Air Jordan 1 as a nod to the CNY. This Air Jordan 1 Chinese New Year sports the traditional Chinese palette having a full tumbled leather and suede Red base with White detailing on the Chinese logos and laces, finished with a White midsole and Red outsole. Other details include a special tongue tag that is unknown of the meaning as of right now, but goes along with the Chinese New Year.
