First Look: Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650R “UNC”

As a follow up to a few Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650R collaborations in 2022, Teddy Santis, the creative director for New Balance Made in USA, is getting ready to release some new colorways in 2023. In addition to the “White/Green” pair revealed earlier this year, we now take a look at another potential upcoming colorway of the popular high-top silhouette.

Dressed in a White, Light Blue, and Gum color scheme giving off UNC vibes. This offering of the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650R features a White mesh and tumbled leather upper highlighted with Light Blue contrasting accents throughout. Other details includes White “New Balance” and “650” branding placements with co-branded heels and insoles. A White midsole atop a Gum rubber outsole completes the design. The shoe also comes with extra set of laces housed in special co-branded packaging.

Check out the photos below, and look for the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650R “UNC” to release on June 13th at select New Balance retailers, Aimeleondore.com and NewBalance.com. The retail price tag is set at $165 USD each.
