adidas YEEZY Hype

We just witness the last adidas Yeezy release of 2016. While we seen a handful of YEEZY releases, which has been your favorite thus far?

Advertisment

Since it’s first debut, every adidas Yeezy release has been highly demanded. But are they really worth all the hype?

adidas and Kanye did do an amazing job making YEEZYs extremely comfortable, but it’s the availability that can be a pain in the ass. Then if you miss out on a release, you’re hit with the option of paying double to triple retail for the shoe on the resell market.

When said and done, for those that were able to cop them all, or one, two or a few of them, are you satisfied?

So would you say YEEZYs are all hype, or worth the purchase? Cast your vote and leave your thoughts in the comments section.

I don’t believe it’s fair to say that Yeezys are “all hype.” They’re genuinely great kicks. I love my Beluga V2’s, more because they’re easy to slip on and off and are super comfortable, as well as I like the aesthetics. Which I gotta say works, if you’re a sneakerhead and you have kids, which makes sense since Kanye wears them all the time running around. Since I wear them 90% of the time to run around, and do errands, they’re amazing sneakers that take the stress off your feet! Sadly, they’ve become the “diamonds” of sneaker culture due to hype. And are unfortunately gouged and marked up triple to quadruple the retail price. I don’t think it makes sense to buy a shoe for that price if it’s based on hype. In the end they’re just comfortable, cool shoes, that are worth the retail price tag, but not the hype price tag. Best. Bless Up.

Yeah, Yeezys are just a high-end Roshe to me.

If Kanye wasn’t attached to these shoes they’d be sold at Payless. Let’s keep it real here, the shoes are ugly. And that’s not an opinion, it’s a consensus.
