adidas and Yohji Yamamoto has officially introduced their newest sneaker, the Y-3 Itogo, a shoe that exemplifies the future of design and construction, using zero glue and only five components, which are numbered on each part of the shoes.

The engineered Primeknit upper is stitched to the tooling and supported by an elastic strap. The midsole can be switched out for different comfort levels — options include a Lightstrike midsole or plush BOOST cushioning, depending on your needs. A nod to its innovative assembly, the Y-3 Itogo moniker is derived from a carefully considered combination of the Japanese word for “Thread” – “Ito” – and “Five” – “Go”.
