The adidas Superstar Lux “Made in Italy” quietly shifts the model into unfamiliar territory. Known for hardwood roots and street adoption, the Superstar rarely leans formal. This version does, and it does so without chasing trends or nostalgia.

Gone is the usual rubber tooling. In its place sits a raised platform with leather welting and a crepe-style outsole. The choice favors appearance and structure over grip, which feels intentional. It reads closer to Italian dress footwear than anything performance-driven.

Black Italian leather wraps the entire upper, including the shell toe. Rubber is removed entirely, replaced by pleated leather that softens the silhouette. A beige sockliner breaks the darkness.
