The adidas SL 72 “Zebra” will showcase a black-and-cream hair-textured upper, with faux zebra-striping throughout the base.

Smooth black leather overlays the Three Stripes, heel tab and eyestay to deliver a ton of high-contrast style that heightens the retro appeal. The shoe’s vintage vibes continue with the red-trimmed white midsole and gum outsole.

Refined gold-foil branding on the heel and texturized tongue are classic “Three Stripe” details with a contemporary upgrade that’ll appeal to today’s lifestyle athletes. While the silhouette nods to the adidas SL 72’s 1970s running heritage, the zebra patterning boldly modernizes the shoe.

The adidas SL 72 “Zebra” will launch Fall 2025 at adidas.com and selected retailers.
