adidas has unleashed a tasty ode to Taiwan’s snack culture, reimagining the country’s street-food staple into a playful sneaker.

The Samba “Taiwanese Fried Chicken” features premium materials and savory color-block styling. The light beige suede upper represents the crispy fried batter, while the fuzzy golden Three Stripes symbolize the fried coating of popcorn chicken.

Elements of red “SAMBA” branding and olive-green laces contrast the ensemble, and tan leather collars and gold “Taipei” lettering pay homage to the local area. Chicken-inspired graphics inside the tongue and on the insole further elevate the subtle tribute to Taiwan’s culinary scene. Included extra laces are included for customization, giving wearers the option to switch it up for a “different flavor.”

The adidas Samba “Taiwanese Fried Chicken” will drop in Fall 2025, embracing both storytelling and flavorful design. The sneakers will be available to purchase at adidas.com and select retailers worldwide.
