adidas quietly released an extremely limited-edition adidas Rom Zissou sneaker that was inspired by Wes Anderson’s classic 2004 film “The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou,” which featured the adidas sneaker in the movie.

It has been a long time coming, but adidas finally pulled the trigger and released the shoe. The only bad news is that the release was only available at the We Love Green festival in Paris, which featured performer Seu Jorge. The Brazilian musician was an actor in the film and also contributed music onto the soundtrack.

The adidas Rom Zissou is an exact replica of the model seen in the movie that starred Bill Murray. Featuring a White leather upper with Blue and Yellow accents, Grey suede toe cap, Gold foil “Zissou” branding and Gum rubber outsoles.

Only 100 numbered pairs were released during the festival in Pairs. A wider release isn’t expected to happen anytime soon.
