adidas Originals have teamed up with Japan’s Neighborhood to remaster Adidas’ classic sportswear with the Japanese label’s hints of Native Americana shining through the collaborative pieces. First off the ranks is Adidas’ signature Shelltoe classic coming to us in a tonal black/white colour way. Now known as the ‘NH SHELLTOE’, this latest collaboration wraps the traditional silhouette in premium black suede, continuing through to the lining with lush black leather, and taking to the three stripes with black glass beads adding an accent of texture to the upper. Accenting against the black sits the tongue label, silhouette stamp, and signature cobranded skull n’ cross bones before sitting atop a crisp white sole unit and shelled toe cap.
The adidas Originals x Neighborhood Shelltoes will be launching in store and online alongside the rest of this season’s collaborative range this Saturday the 11th of October at their Level 1/15 McKillop Street location from 11am. Remaining pairs will release at Up There Store online store from 12pm the same day with sizes US8 through to US11.5 available for $180.
