Before signing with Nike in 2003, Kobe signed with adidas back in 1996. One of the first models he wore during his NBA rookie season was the EQT Elevation, now called the Crazy 97 EQT. To commemorate NBA All-Star returning in Cleveland in 2022, the Crazy 97 EQT will return in its original “Lakers” Purple and Gold colorway, the same pair he wore when he won the 1997 NBA Dunk Contest. The she will also release in a new Blue and Orange colorway nodding back to the ’97 All-Star Weekend in Cleveland.

The Kobe 1, now called the Crazy 1, was Kobe Bryant’s first signature shoe that originally released in 2001, which will also be returning. The original “Sunshine” colorway is set for April to coincide with the McDonald’s All-American Game as well as the original White and Black “Stormtrooper” colorway is also set for a re-release.
