John Wall’s adidas J Wall 2 will be taking part of this year’s adidas Basketball 2016 “Black History Month” Collection.

The “BHM” edition of the adidas J Wall 2 takes on an interesting look that’s a nod to legendary US sprinter Jesse Owens who dominated in the 1936 Berlin Olympics.

Dressed in a White and Gold color scheme. The shoe features a cracked Gold foil upper with Gold also displayed on the ‘773’ branding on the tongue that represents the number Owens wore while winning 4 Gold medals. Another personal detail to the shoe is the name “Frances” on the inner tongue that pays respect to his mother, Frances Pulley.
