Donovan Mitchell’s “Spida” theme returns on the adidas DON Issue 8 with a black, red, and blue colorway set for June 2026. The adidas DON Issue 8 “Spida-Man” will release in men’s sizing for $120 and grade school sizing for $90.
The shoe does not need heavy graphics to make the nickname land. A black padded ankle collar starts the look, with white eyelets and red piping adding contrast around the top. The midfoot is where the colorway really opens up, using a blue TPU support cage with red showing through the cutouts.
Gradient mesh moves across the upper in blue and red, giving the side panels more energy without making the design feel crowded. Red also hits the toe area and midsole, while the Lightstrike Pro setup is split by a black midfoot shank filled in with red underneath.
Blue carries onto the inner bootie and heel portion of the outsole, while red takes over the toe and tongue. White adidas branding on the heel keeps that back section simple, which helps balance out the stronger color hits across the rest of the shoe.
The adidas DON Issue 8 “Spida-Man” releases June 2026 through adidas.com and select retailers online and in-store.
It is a pretty direct play on Mitchell’s long-running “Spida” identity, but the sharper blocking gives it more of a performance sneaker feel than a full comic-style theme.
