Originally called the KB8 when Kobe Bryant was signed with adidas. Now they’re taking the classic basketball silhouette and giving it a Primeknit makeover for the month of August. Today, they officially unveiled the adidas Crazy 8 ADV PK (Primeknit) dubbed, “Lusso.”

Retaining many of the shoe’s original, distinctive design elements, the Crazy 8 ADV PK takes inspiration from the world of Italian fashion through a full Primeknit construction with reflective pinstripe details. A premium leather heel counter adds structure to the design, while a marble print leather sockliner reinforces the shoe’s luxury influences. Finally, the shoe is rounded off with the Crazy 8’s iconic, fluid tooling, finished with adidas trefoil branding on the tongue. The result is a bold return of a basketball icon, reimagined in a form like never before.
