The adidas Anthony Edwards 3 is beginning to take shape as official images reveal four upcoming colorways in grade school sizing. While the kids’ pairs may differ slightly from the adult release, the photos still give us a good look at the direction adidas is taking with Anthony Edwards’ third signature shoe.
A low-cut build returns, along with a mesh base and a more structured support piece wrapping the sides. The biggest change comes through that outer layer, which now uses sharp, forward-moving lines instead of the honeycomb pattern from the AE 1 or the fang-like design seen on the AE 2. It gives the shoe a quicker, more aggressive look without moving too far away from what made the first two models recognizable.
Adult sizing is expected to feature Hyperboost cushioning, marking a new basketball use for the technology. That branding does not appear on the heels of these grade school pairs, so the cushioning setup for kids’ sizing may be different.
Four colorways are shown in the first official batch. “Ice Blue” pairs frosted gradients with a neutral base, while another version mixes pink and purple across the lower layer. The “With Love” colorway uses a molten-style pattern across the synthetic sections, and the grey pair brings in a hazy, smoke-like graphic underneath the side support.
The adidas Anthony Edwards 3 will release September 15, 2026, through adidas.com and select retailers.
