Action Bronson is introducing his first signature New Balance sneaker with the type of rollout only he could pull off. Rather than announcing the New Balance 2811 through a standard campaign, the rapper and chef debuted the model alongside a full-blown short film packed with late-’90s action movie energy.

Created under his BAKLAVA label, the 2811 is Bronson’s first entirely original New Balance silhouette. His previous projects put new spins on existing models, but this time he helped build the shoe from the ground up. The design combines a chunky, trail-inspired upper with the ABZORB-cushioned sole unit used on the New Balance 2010. Layered synthetic panels stretch across the toe and midfoot, giving it a technical look without straying too far from New Balance’s familiar style.

The debut “Mikročpske” colorway starts with pale yellow-green mesh, deep teal overlays, and black leather around the toe and heel. Cobalt blue covers the tongue, which features embroidered BAKLAVA and New Balance 2811 branding. Frosted reflective “N” logos sit on the sides, while orange accents add contrast throughout. A powder-blue ABZORB midsole rests above a black and teal outsole.

Bronson also released a short film built around the sneaker, describing it as a Balkan-inspired romantic crime thriller set in the late-’90s and early-2000s. The clip follows him through New York as he runs from trouble and attempts to hack into “the mainframe.”

The first 300 pairs will be released during a Brooklyn event on July 18, with admission including a guaranteed pair, food, games, and music. Tickets were limited to Tri-State residents and sold out quickly.
