DTLR Exclusive New Balance 990v6 “Cornerstone” Releases September 26th

DTLR and New Balance continue their fruitful partnership with the release of DTLR Exclusive New Balance 990v6 “Cornerstone”. The retailer’s third 2025 exclusive, the 990v6 iteration is another bright and brash collaboration that adds to DTLR and New Balance’s ongoing history of standout 99X releases.

The “Cornerstone” colorway dons a full palette of bright and neutral elements. The upper of the shoe is dressed in a tri-color base of white, grey and black with added bright Volt green accents on the signature “N” logo, eyelets, and tongue branding. Yellow details can also be seen on the laces and heel tab, while thick blue overlays are peppered across the upper of the shoe, creating visual contrast that crosses the design into bold statement territory. On the underside of the shoe, responsive FuelCell cushioning is layered for a soft and comfortable ride, while a white, grey and black midsole and black-and-red outsole round out the styling and provide traction and stability.

DTLR is a relatively recent partner of New Balance that has quickly cemented themselves as one of the company’s most prolific collaborators. So far in 2024, the two have released five exclusives between them, including the 2002R “Purple Noir” and 9060 “Cyan Burst”. A few months ago, further styles like the 1906R “Moon Sign” and children’s exclusive 530 expanded the collaboration’s reach over several silhouettes. This latest 990v6 project is another great example of that strategy, and helps DTLR continue telling its loud and brash seasonal story through releases in the 99X family.

Release Date & Where To Buy

The DTLR Exclusive New Balance 990v6 “Cornerstone” will release on September 26, 2025, exclusively at DTLR’s online store and in-store locations. It will be available in men’s sizing and retails for $200 USD.

Air Jordan MVP 92 Surfaces in “Sail/Jade Horizon”

The Air Jordan MVP 92 “Sail/Jade Horizon” is another muted take on Jordan Brand’s line of hybrids.

Covered in Sail leather with mesh overlays, the two-tone colorway stays simple while incorporating highlights of Jade Horizon and Midnight Green. The sculpted Khaki midsole and gum outsole complete the stylish and sturdy profile with Nike Air branding on the heel harkening back to Jordan’s heyday. Longtime sneakerheads will definitely notice.

This down-to-earth color scheme is also more subtle and could be more accessible than previous louder releases. It is the perfect shade for going from the court to kicking it.

As expected, the Air Jordan MVP 92 “Sail/Jade Horizon” release date is Fall 2025, and will retail at Nike.com and select retailers for $145 USD.

atmos x adidas ZX 8000 “G-SNK 11” Brings Back Glow-in-the-Dark Flair

With so many reissue and archival sneakers launching these days, the atmosphere of nostalgia hangs heavily over the modern sneaker scene. But nostalgia can evolve, and the most exciting collabs are those that carry new energy into the next chapter. That’s what we see here in the atmos x adidas ZX 8000 “G-SNK 11”.

The G-SNK series first launched in 2011 and was a notable entry in adidas’ diverse history of collaborations, thanks to snake skin overlays and fearless colorways. It became a signature series for the brand over the next decade. After the third entry in the series in 2020, the series has hit the gas pedal in the past five years and its already made it to the eleventh iteration.

If previous G-SNK models are any indication, this chapter should be no different in its knack for striking designs. Luckily for sneakerheads with less adventurous taste, this version tones things down—at least during daylight hours. A white mesh base is accented by mint green overlays, blue Three Stripes and pops of red. It’s all a balanced contrast, and the off-white midsole further speaks to classic ZX silhouettes of old. But sneakerheads know the real fun happens after dark, as glow-in-the-dark overlays are strategically applied to the snakeskin, bathing the panels in light. It’s a masterful way to nod to the G-SNK series’ most distinct calling card, while keeping things as eye-catching as ever.

Compared to the previous wild-and-wooly designs in the series, the “G-SNK 11” is actually quite wearable, which is really where the detail is that sneakerheads will appreciate. This is the type of sneaker that can be both a daily driver and a collectible all at once.

The atmos x adidas ZX 8000 “G-SNK 11” releases on September 26, 2025 at atmos Japan. Raffle entries are open now via the atmos app.

Jordan Luka 4 “Hčerka” Honors Luka’s Daughter

Luka Dončić is a superstar with video game cameos and magazine covers in his portfolio, but a family-first man through and through. That’s reflected in his newest signature sneaker, the Jordan Luka 4 “Hčerka”. Translated, the name means “daughter” in Slovenian and the drop is a nod to Dončić welcoming one in late 2023.

The pair arrives covered in bright Flash Crimson and Sunset Pulse for a vibrant, yet sentimental look. An intricate layered upper features tonal stitching and slick overlays that culminate in a big Cushlon midsole for pop. Black Jumpman branding on the heel and Luka’s own logo on the outsole add contrasting touches to keep it court ready.

As with previous storytelling colorways like the “Lake Bled,” Luka links his personal narrative to his play shoes with the “Hčerka.” The colorway also seems more adaptable to both lifestyle and court looks than some. It’s at least lifestyle-friendly while still being capable on the hardwood. For the Luka faithful, that lineage connection with some hoops credibility is a heartstring-tugging combo.

The Jordan Luka 4 “Hčerka” will release on October 13, 2025, in full family sizing. Adult sizes cost $135 USD. The retro will be available at select Jordan Brand retail locations in-store and online and Nike.com.

adidas Reveals The Fear Of God Athletics Basketball II “Ash Silver”

The collaboration between Fear of God and adidas continues to grow with the debut of the adidas Fear of God Athletics II Basketball “Ash Silver”. The fourth iteration of the silhouette merges technical performance advancements and Jerry Lorenzo’s trademark minimalism.

Showcasing one of the most successful AAU teams in basketball history, Compton Magic, the Fear of God Athletics II Basketball “Ash Silver” campaign lands with video and photography captured at The Magic Lab and at the Earn Your Stripes Tournament. Founded by Etop Udo-Ema and now coached by Justin Williams, Magic Magic had a chance to debut the custom Ash Silver uniforms worn in tandem with the new sneakers. An intergenerational crew wore the looks while on the court and off, furthering the collaborative mission of the project to continue to inspire and uplift future athletes.

Designed with performance and luxury in mind, the II Basketball leans into Fear of God’s duality in sport. It features a tight inner bootie, ventilation with mono-filament fabrics, a stretchy, ultralight Lightstrike midsole and a TPU shank to add to the energy return, while a solid outsole with multi-directional traction was made for the hardwood. Fear of God’s Ash Silver suede upper provides a polished finish while remaining connected to the contemporary label’s architectural aesthetic. Subtle compared to previous colorways, this take on the II Basketball sneaker also feels more versatile than ever, appearing just as suited for the street as it does for the court.

“It’s been a dream come true working with Jerry Lorenzo and Fear of God Athletics,” Etop Udo-Ema said of the project. “We are so grateful to adidas for bringing this dream collaboration to life. This is one for the books and the beginning of something so big.”

A powerful endorsement from one of the faces of the sport in Compton Magic, Etop’s words are just one of many testaments to the cultural relevance of the adidas Fear of God Athletics II Basketball, beyond its technical and performance focus.

Nike Basketball Immortalized Pack Celebrates Team USA’s Olympic Gold

Team USA Basketball had one of its most successful runs ever in Paris at the Olympics just over a year ago. The event also featured debut drops for many Nike athletes that made the City of Lights a sneakerhead paradise as well.

In celebration of their impressive performances, Nike has announced the Immortalized Pack, an extremely limited collection which will only be sold at Foot Locker. As a “bundle,” each configuration will be limited to just 400 pairs making the entire release a total of 1,200 pairs worldwide. The LeBron 22 Pack is $510, the KD Pack is $360, and the Book 1 Pack is $310.

Nike LeBron 22 Immortalized

LeBron James will have the Nike LeBron 22 “Immortalized” available in two colorways. The blue one will be reminiscent of his warmup gear while the gold model takes inspiration from his moment at the buzzer during game five. The LeBron 22 features metallic finishes on the upper to capture James’ MVP performance throughout Team USA’s historic run.

Nike KD 18/KD 4 Immortalized

Kevin Durant’s package is a fusion of past and present. He and Nike are uniting the KD 18 with a retro release of the KD 4, the sneaker he wore in during the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The four paint splashes finish the collection off in the colors of the American flag and pays homage to Durant’s continued legacy as an international gold medalist.

Nike Book 1 Immortalized

Nike will also be making a nod to Booker’s Olympic experience in the design of his first signature, the Nike Book 1 “Immortalized.” This release commemorates his winning his second gold medal at the Games in Paris this past summer. As Booker loves to share his stories outside of the game as well, this drop will have a special patch that harkens back to the camcorder that was seen attached to his laces throughout Paris.

This Nike Air Max 90 features a reptilian take on a timeless silhouette.

Air Jordan 4 “Tour Yellow” Returns Fall 2026

The Air Jordan 4 “Tour Yellow” returns this Fall 2026 to celebrate a loud and controversial mid-2000s classic.

Dropped in May 2006 as part of the Jordan Brand LS (Lifestyle) line, the “Tour Yellow” was one of the more eye-catching colorways of the Jordan 4. The release departed from typical Jordan 4 designs based around Chicago Bulls themes to feature a lively color palette. That youthful energy appealed to the new generation of sneakerheads in the years following Michael Jordan’s retirement, setting the tone for one of the most well-known non-Bulls retro releases of the mid-2000s.

The shoe features a White leather upper, speckled Yellow midsole, and clean Black accents. The colorway’s most iconic feature is the removable “Flight” tongue patch that covers a concealed “Rare Air” branding. That clever detail grouped it with other fan-favorite colorways such as the UNDEFEATED Jordan 4 and later Jordan 4 “Rare Air” editions.

The “Tour Yellow” Jordan 4 is a rare colorway that has maintained its status as a collectible in the years since its initial release. The use of bright elements and hidden “Rare Air” branding make it an eye-catching release that differentiates it from more common Jordan 4 colorways. For collectors that have been chasing a pair over the years, this will be an opportunity to finally add a pair to their collection before its value continues to rise on the resale market.
