Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” Returns November 2025

UPDATE 8/22/25: The Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” is returning in full family sizing on November 8, 2025. Get an exclusive first look at the sneaker below via Complex Sneakers and stay tuned for full release information.

Original Story 2/3/25:
The Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” is one of the most iconic colorways in the Air Jordan line, and sneaker enthusiasts are in for a treat as it makes its highly anticipated return in November 2025. Originally released in 1996, the “Taxi” colorway has become a staple in the sneaker community, revered for its sleek design and timeless appeal.

The “Taxi” features a clean and classic color scheme with a predominantly white leather upper, complemented by black accents on the mudguard, outsole, and heel. The shoe’s name comes from the yellow accents on the carbon fiber shank plate and the gold lace eyelets, reminiscent of the yellow cabs in New York City. The black Jumpman logo on the tongue and the bold “23” on the heel add to the shoe’s distinctive look.

When the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” was first released, it quickly gained popularity not only for its striking appearance but also for its performance on the court. Michael Jordan wore this colorway during the 1996-1997 NBA season, leading the Chicago Bulls to their fifth NBA championship. The shoe’s design, inspired by the Japanese rising sun flag, symbolized Jordan’s rise to greatness.

In 2025, the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” will return with an improved shape that closely resembles the original release, ensuring that fans get an authentic experience. Additionally, the shoe will come with original packaging, adding to the nostalgia and collector’s value.

Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 19 Debuts Summer 2026

The Nike KD 19 “Bright Ceramic” will release in Summer 2026, introducing Kevin Durant’s nineteenth signature sneaker with Nike Basketball.

Durant’s collection has historically pushed for speed and mobility with his low-top constructions, and the KD 19 is no exception. However, this latest iteration gets revamped with design cues from performance-heavy silhouettes in the early 2000s, such as the Nike Hyperflight and Ultraflight. The clean lines, zig-zagging panels, and simplified body create a new-wave feel on Durant’s nineteenth sneaker. Also look for a subtle yet noticeable lateral Swoosh by the toe for a modern addition.

The launch “Bright Ceramic” edition combines shades of Orange with University Gold and hints of Stadium Green for a bold take. Other colorways will include Gorge Green, Photo Blue, Field Purple, University Red, and Hyper Pink. With the futuristic sharp angles and fresh nods to the past, the KD 19 seems to find a nice balance between both worlds.

Nike also has a NOCTA x KD 19 collaboration with clothing planned out as well, providing even more storytelling to the newest Durant model. Apparel features graphics and references to Durant’s high school days with the Montrose Christian High School basketball team and other nods to Durant’s life, including a graphic print based on Durant’s former MySpace profile picture to further illustrate the era the star grew up in.

Nike KD 19 Release Date

The Nike KD 19 “Bright Ceramic” will release on May 29, 2026 at Nike Basketball retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $155 USD.

Nike and South Carolina Announce Landmark 10-Year Partnership Beginning 2026

The University of South Carolina is saying goodbye to Under Armour after an almost 20-year relationship. Beginning July 1, the school’s 21 Gamecock athletic programs will be outfitted by Nike as part of a 10-year deal.

The agreement calls for a provision of $500,000 in cash every year, adding up to $5 million over 10 years. USC is also guaranteed $70 million in retail product allotments and $2.5 million in supplemental equipment. A royalty rate of 15% of net sales provides additional income.

Nike’s investment in Gamecock athletes and merchandise goes well beyond a cash spend. The Football program will play in Vapor F.U.S.E. uniforms and will get elite cleated footwear that NFL players also use. The Women’s basketball team will wear the new, advanced Paris chassis, which Team USA will wear at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The programs will also have alternate uniforms tailored to represent the state of South Carolina.

Of special note is Nike’s plan to integrate A’ja Wilson, the USC legend and current WNBA superstar, into Gamecock basketball. The league’s second leading scorer in career points and fourth in rebounding has a signature line and related marketing valued at $3 million. Special South Carolina-themed products can be expected to drop with Wilson branding.

Students, alumni, and fans can look forward to purchasing official Nike Gamecock gear when the new partnership takes effect in July 2026. In addition to uniforms, the exclusive Nike Basketball and Football PEs will also help energize South Carolina athletes in their competition and help make the change to the Swoosh both cultural and competitive.

Nike Ja 3 Colorways Spotlight Morant’s Storytelling Legacy

Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies are aiming for redemption after injuries derailed their 2024-25 season and ended in a playoff exit. While fans wait for the official rollout of the Nike Ja 3, Morant previewed several upcoming colorways in an exclusive feature with SLAM Kicks, giving sneakerheads a look at what’s next.

The Nike Ja 3 has already received early love for its “NY vs. NY,” “Light Show,” “Peach Jam” PE, and “Price of Admission” pairs. With each colorway telling a personal story linked to Morant’s journey, his latest round of designs continues to put a personal touch on Nike’s Basketball sneaker. The “Channel 12” pays homage to Hustle & Flow, while the “Scratch 3.0” includes claw mark details in a nod to the Grizzlies’ identity. Seasonal-themed editions have also been previewed, including a “Spooky Season” colorway with glow-in-the-dark Halloween detailing and “Snowed In,” a winterized edition characterized by frosted textures and a snow globe logo.

A pair of unreleased colorways have also teased fans, including a “Mink Brown” build that evokes a Neapolitan ice cream aesthetic and a tonal color scheme that draws similarities to the Kobe 6 “All-Star 2.0”. These builds continue Nike’s practice of not only including performance tech, but storytelling that lends itself to the personalization of the Ja 3 line. Retail price should remain $130.

Like past seasons, the Nike Ja 3 should see a gradual rollout in 2025, with each new colorway helping to cement Ja’s status in Nike Basketball’s future.

Brain Dead x adidas Japan Collection Drops August 22nd

The Brain Dead x adidas Japan Collection ignites the retro silhouette with three heat-kissed colorways dropping August.

Shadow Brown/Hazy Yellow-Off White and Core Black/Off White-Warm Vanilla low-tops, and a Core Black/Crystal White-Gold Metallic high-top will hit shelves.

Where To Buy The Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” (2025)

UPDATE 8/22/25: The Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” will drop tomorrow, August 23rd, in full family sizing. Retailing at $185 for adults, big kids (GS) retail $140, little kids (PS) retail $85, and toddlers/infants retail $70. Pairs will launch on Nike SNKRS while select partner retailers like Foot Locker, Finish Line, and JD Sports US will also carry the release.

Original Story:
In 2025, Jordan Brand is smashing expectations—again. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1, they’re bringing back a fan-favorite: the Air Jordan 1 High OG Shattered Backboard for its 10th Anniversary.

Originally launched in 2015, this colorway pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s infamous backboard-breaking dunk in Italy. Yep, the moment that turned a glass panel into confetti is now sneaker lore.

Inspired by MJ’s Stefanel Trieste jersey, the shoe rocks a bold black, orange, and off-white combo. It’s the kind of colorway that yells “history lesson,” but in the coolest way possible. This 2025 version keeps the iconic look but upgrades the shape with the refined AJ1 mold introduced in 2022.

But wait—there’s more! You’ll still get that soft, tumbled leather, crispy black overlays, and the classic Nike Air tongue tag. Even the insoles feature shattered glass graphics, in case you forgot what you’re stepping into.

Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard 2025 Release Date

Mark your calendars: The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Shattered Backboard” releases on August 23, 2025, at select retailers and Nike.com. Retail price? A cool $185 USD. Fair warning—these will fly faster than MJ in ‘85.

This release is more than just a sneaker—it’s a slam dunk celebration of Air Jordan legacy. Don’t sleep on it.

Nike Kobe 3 Protro “Christmas” Releases Holiday 2025

The Nike Kobe 3 Protro “Christmas” is set to drop during Holiday 2025, bringing back one of Kobe Bryant’s most talked-about sneakers.

The Kobe 3 originally arrived in 2007, instantly sparking debate with its lattice-style upper and bold grid design. Fans remember it best from the 2007 Christmas Day game against the Phoenix Suns, when Kobe stepped onto the floor in a Lakers-themed PE. That moment cemented the shoe in NBA holiday history. Now, almost twenty years later, the model is coming back with a fresh icy makeover fit for the season.

This Protro edition blends heritage and performance. The upper comes dressed in cool blue mesh, layered under its signature translucent cage. Iridescent details flash across the Swoosh and tongue logo, while frosted midsoles and clear outsoles tie the theme together. It’s a look that feels festive without losing its edge, and honestly, it wears sharper than the original.

Nike has long linked Kobe sneakers to Christmas Day, but the Kobe 3 remains one of the most memorable. With upgraded Zoom Air cushioning and improved traction, this pair is built for today’s game. For collectors, the nostalgia hits just as strong — it’s a piece of Kobe’s legacy reimagined for a new generation.

The upper features a mix of Hyper Pink synthetic and mesh with a protective shroud. Black overlays, Swooshes, and side buckle closure add structure and a touch of edge. On the heel, the iconic ACG triangle logo cements its outdoor heritage.

The chunky black midsole transitions to a lugged outsole in a combination of Hyper Pink and black. The harsh contrast continues to the aggressive tread for good traction on and off the trails. Nike KD 18 EYBL “The Academy” PE Revealed

The Nike KD 18 EYBL “The Academy” brings Kevin Durant’s latest signature sneaker to an exclusive stage. Designed specifically for the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League’s prestigious program, this edition won’t see a retail release, making it a rare sight for collectors.

The colorway blends white, silver, black, and sharp blue overlays, accented by orange mesh underlays that add contrast. EYBL branding runs down the tongue, while “The Academy” emblem on the heel confirms its limited status. That’s the detail sneakerheads will notice right away. With bold paneling and futuristic lines, the KD 18 maintains a strong on-court identity while carrying storytelling elements tied to the event.

Durant’s line has a long history of player-exclusive editions, but this KD 18 marks one of the most visually striking. Early images surfaced via Randy M. Williams (@r2n9y), giving fans a closer look at the pair. Unfortunately, this PE will remain off retail shelves, reserved only for athletes competing in the program.

While the KD 18 EYBL “The Academy” won’t release publicly, Nike Basketball continues to expand Durant’s performance range online, ensuring fans still have plenty of options.

Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1000 Revealed in Second Colorway

Salehe Bembury has already proven that 2025 is off to another memorable start with the release of the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1000. Bembury, who has worked with Crocs, PUMA, and of course his own footwear brand, continues to design cutting-edge releases through his work with New Balance.

The new colorway of the New Balance 1000 consists of a gradient that shifts from a fluorescent pink at the heel, to a steel blue on the forefoot. Bits of fiery orange are scattered on the midsole and lace loops. Textured suede overlays at the toe add a juxtaposition of texture to the multi-layered upper. It’s a confident look that stays grounded. It’s also a recipe that has solidified Bembury’s status as one of the most important sneaker designers of his generation.

The sneaker drops not long after the “Fog Be The Cloud” version, which we already know will be available on September 5th. The pair dropped at the same time, so there is still the possibility that they could be released as a pack. For now, the mystery surrounding how it will drop has only heightened the excitement.

This is another marquee release in Bembury’s recent run of New Balance collabs, which include the “Heat Be Hot” 1906R. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the release date.

Nike Dunk Low GTX “Triple Black” Expands All-Weather Lineup

Nike is continuing the Dunk Low GTX all-weather line with the upcoming Nike Dunk Low GTX “Triple Black”. Waterproof leather panels and a Gore-Tex lined interior help the low keep up with the rain and more. Even the perforations at the toebox are sealed. Small details of Gore-Tex branding appear on the lateral of the shoe as well as on the Swoosh tag. The combination of features creates a sneaker you can rely on in weather or not, with a subdued look to fit stealthy rotations.

Nike has not forgotten that it has dabbled with Gore-Tex and the Dunk series before, and for a good reason. Over time, the line became a go-to series for sneakerheads that wanted something that could handle more wear and tear while not sacrificing design. The “Triple Black” colorway is just the newest addition to the collection, with the “Ceramic” colorway previously revealed as well as the “Light Crimson” pair that will arrive in 2026.

Its release also comes as the Dunk series nears the end of its 40th-anniversary celebrations, with 2025 seeing a good balance of retros and collabs. While the rotation is versatile enough on its own, the all-black finish is just what the fans ordered for this anniversary year. It’s the detail sneakerheads will recognize immediately.

The Nike Dunk Low GTX “Triple Black” will release early 2026 at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $150 USD.

Patta x Nike Air Max DN8 Releases September 2025

UPDATE 8/22/25: European shops have begun listing the upcoming Patta x Nike Air Max DN8, offering the clearest look yet at the collaboration. Patta reworks the silhouette with layered materials, pairing glossy patent leather overlays with grey mesh panels beneath. The gradient midsole fades from white to black. A cut-out toe box and lace-looping S-ring add fresh design updates. Co-branding completes the black, blue, and grey colorway. This update confirms the first full look at the Patta x Nike Air Max DN8 before release.

The Patta x Nike Air Max DN8 is slated to release in Europe on September 1st for €200, with U.S. release details still unconfirmed.

Original Story 7/10/25:
Patta is back with another bold Nike collaboration, this time reworking the modern Air Max DN8 silhouette.

Following their popular Air Max 90 “Waves” release, Patta now applies its touch to the Air Max DN8. Recently revealed by co-founder Edson Sabajo on Instagram, this new pair arrives in a clean Black colorway. It features a shiny patent leather overlay and a leather toe box instead of the usual mesh.

Royal blue lace loops add a pop of color, while white accents bring contrast to the shoe’s aggressive design. Notable details include a silver S-biner accessory and Patta’s script branding on the tongue. The signature hollowed-out midsole remains intact, delivering futuristic style and cushioning.

CLOT x adidas Anthony Edwards 1 Low “Blue Flame” Friends and Family Exclusive

UPDATE 8/22/25: Edison Chen’s JUICE Store revealed on Instagram that the CLOT x adidas Anthony Edwards 1 Low “Blue Flame” will stay Friends & Family only, with no public release. Fans in Hong Kong still have a chance to win pairs. From August 26 to 31, JUICE Store Causeway Bay will host an in-store challenge. Winners can secure the limited, arcade game-inspired sneakers. This update confirms exclusivity, while highlighting the only way fans may get the shoes.

Original Story 8/1/25:
CLOT founder Edison Chen is back with a new chapter in the brand’s long relationship with adidas, and this time it’s on the court. The upcoming collaboration with the German brand will focus on Anthony Edwards’ AE 1 Low and serves as the first foray into the adidas Basketball division for CLOT under the resurgent partnership between the two.

This comes in the form of a vibrant blue flame insole print spanning both shoe footbeds with a CLOT and Edwards’ AE logo stamp respectively. While the past few CLOT x adidas collections have favored lifestyle offerings, this turn to high-performance basketball-specific footwear is right in line with Edwards quickly establishing himself as one of the NBA’s most exciting young scorers.

Furthermore, this seems to be a well-timed introduction given that the AE 1’s current retail lifespan is nearing its close and this high-profile collaboration thus provides a fitting showcase on the last edition of the AE before the AE 2 takes over. Chen has been spotted in courtside Timberwolves games donning pairs of AE 1’s, while Edwards has been spotted in colorways of unreleased CLOT x adidas sneakers of his own, only building hype more.

A firm release date for the CLOT x adidas AE 1 Low hasn’t been given yet as only a few teases and early on-foot shots have been released, but we’ll have more on the drop soon.

Jordan Trunner LX “Luminous Green” Releases September 3rd

UPDATE 8/22/25: The Jordan Trunner LX “Luminous Green” is set to release September 3rd via SNKRS.

Original Story 4/21/25:
The Jordan Trunner LX is back, and it’s brighter than your phone screen at 2 AM with a “Luminous Green” colorway.

This wild child of the Jordan family blends performance and lifestyle like a protein shake in a blender—loud, fast, and oddly satisfying.

Its mesh upper comes dressed in a “Luminous Green” that practically glows in the dark (but don’t quote us on that). Bold black overlays give the shoe some bite, while that molded heel clip says, “I came to train, but I might hit brunch after.”

And yes, there’s reflective 3M on the heel. So if you get caught in headlights while flexing these in the wild, you’ll be seen. Literally.

But wait, there’s more! Oversized Jumpman logos on the heel round out the chaos in true Jordan Brand fashion. It’s loud. It’s proud. It’s probably what your gym crush dreams about.

Dropping September 3, 2025, the Jordan Trunner LX “Luminous Green” will retail for $135 USD at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. Grab them, strap in, and prepare to confuse every sneaker gatekeeper at the cookout.

The Jordan Trunner LX is bold, bizarre, and back in business. Whether you’re training, chilling, or moonwalking through the grocery store, they’ve got you covered.
