UPDATE 7/23/25: Fresh photos of the Bronx Girls Skate x Nike SB Dunk Low have surfaced, providing a closer look at a number of new details that pay homage to culture, life, and togetherness in the Bronx.
The translucent outsole features “BX” and “GS” graphics that sit underneath an illustrated NYC subway bridge, serving as a visual representation of the borough’s culture and movement. Inside the custom insoles of the Bronx Girls Skate SB Dunk Low are two new quotes that read “We all come from different backgrounds but nothing is more important than coming together as family” and the Spanish translation, “Soy porque somos” (“I am because we are”).
On top of that, each sneaker is outfitted with grillz-inspired gold lace dubraes that are stamped with “BXGS” as well as lace tips that are printed with “Bronx Girls Skate.” The heels have gold NY pendants, while the backside and tongue host a fun collection of hidden graphics like a cheeseburger and interlocking arms.
These details elevate the Bronx Girls Skate SB Dunk Low to more than a shoe, they make it a wearable celebration of empowerment, diversity and pride in NYC skateboarding.
