Nike Basketball has brought back its Greater Than series with three categories: GT Flight, GT Force, and GT Uptempo. The new Nike GT Uptempo was first seen on San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper, and now another colorway has surfaced in white and gold.
The GT Uptempo has a shape similar to the GT Cut 4, with a mesh upper that looks close to what’s used on the Air Jordan 41. Nike equipped the shoe with ZoomX 3.0 foam, an Air Zoom Strobel, a separate Air Zoom unit in the heel, and Cushlon cushioning. There’s also a TPU window and shank for support. White covers most of the shoe, while gold appears on the Swooshes, the forefoot Air Zoom branding, and across the midsole in a gradient finish.
Nike has also placed its current signature basketball shoes into the three Greater Than categories. GT Uptempo has the largest group, which includes the Caitlin 1, Sabrina 3, Book 2, and KD 19. The line is focused on reactive speed, with the new GT Uptempo being one of the models under that category.
This Nike GT Uptempo “White/Gold” edition is expected to release during Spring 2027 through select retailers and Nike.com.
