The familiar Air Max badges are missing from the Nike Air Max 90 “Medium Olive,” and the changes go beyond the branding. Smooth olive leather covers the toe box and sides, replacing the mesh usually found on those areas of the shoe.

Around the laces, perforated leather takes the place of the standard plastic eyestays. The heel gets a similar treatment, with a perforated tab and no raised Nike Air logo. A blank stitched panel sits where the side Air Max lettering would normally be, though Nike branding remains on the tongue and insoles.

Olive carries across the Swooshes, laces, and mudguards, with matching stitching along the layered upper. Small perforations also appear on the tongue. Mesh is still used inside the padded collar.

Most of the contrast comes from the sole, where a dark ribbed frame surrounds the visible heel Air unit. The rest of the midsole stays olive, while dark rubber runs underneath with waffle tread at the forefoot and a slight wrap up the toe.
