Fifteen seasons into his NBA career, Andre Drummond finally has a signature shoe, and he wore it for his first game with the New York Knicks. The Stria Sport Drumm 1 showed up in blue and silver, offering an early look at the model he’s been working on since joining the brand earlier this year.
The low-cut upper features oval accents around the shoe and a V-shaped tongue. Synthetic leather and mesh appear to make up most of the build, although the game photos only reveal so much. A closer look should help confirm the materials and show details that are tough to pick out on court.
Drummond spent years wearing Nike and Jordan before taking a creative director position at Stria Sport. That agreement came before his move to New York and includes projects beyond his own basketball shoe.
The Stria Sport Drumm 1 has now made its on-court debut, with more details still to come.
