New Balance has two colorways of the Kawhi 5 dropping October 21st. It’s the fifth signature shoe for Kawhi Leonard, who’s been with the brand since 2018. This one looks nothing like the Kawhi 4, which had a much bulkier, old-school shape. New Balance has slimmed things down quite a bit, especially around the upper.

For the first two releases, New Balance went with sage green and navy. The green version features gold “N” logos, while the navy pair uses icy blue branding. Both share the same updated construction, including synthetic uppers and TPU detailing that brings to mind some of the brand’s older technical running shoes.

Leonard signed with New Balance in 2018 and has since built a signature line that has found an audience among basketball players. He’s also no longer the only NBA player with a signature shoe at the brand, as Tyrese Maxey has joined the lineup.

The New Balance Kawhi 5 releases October 21, 2026, for $160 through New Balance and select retailers.
