adidas has been putting a lot of attention on the Adistar Control 5 lately, and collaborations have played a big part in bringing the model back into the mix. After pairs with Unheardof, Larry June, and others, Los Angeles brand Menace now has its own version on the way.
The Menace x adidas Adistar Control 5 was spotted on-foot at ComplexCon, where the color setup immediately stood out. White, yellow, and red blend across the sides and toe in a gradient that looks similar to the colors seen on a heatmap. Black overlays sit over those brighter sections with a subtle shifting finish, while silver Three Stripes appear along the sides with Menace branding.
More Menace branding is placed on the tongue, and dark purple covers much of the remaining upper along with the midsole. That darker base helps break up the brighter gradient running through the shoe.
MENACE x adidas Adistar Control 5 Release Date
A release date for the MENACE x adidas Adistar Control 5 “Heat Signature” is set for October 20, 2026 through select retailers and adidas.com. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price tag is set at $180. Check out the official photos added below.
