Nearly a decade into his run with Converse, Tyler, the Creator is adding another shoe to the 1908 series. The 1908 Bronco Boot Low takes the rugged shape introduced with the original Bronco Boot and cuts it down below the ankle, giving Tyler another model alongside the Jogger, Naut-1, and Bronco Boot.

Much of the original Bronco Boot is still there, including its chunky tooling and duck boot influence. That model also borrowed from the Converse Mud Chunk from the 1990s. The lower version changes the feel without moving too far away from that design, with early looks showing black leather, green leather, and yellow suede options. Gum soles appear underneath, while brown trim is used on the green and yellow pairs.

Tyler’s 1908 work has grown beyond one specific type of Converse shoe. The Jogger has been the most visible model so far, while the Naut-1 and Bronco Boot have pushed the line in different directions. His recent Converse projects have also included the Pro Leather, adding an older basketball silhouette to the mix.

The Tyler, the Creator x Converse 1908 Bronco Boot Low has started surfacing through early overseas listings, but Converse has not formally introduced the shoe yet. A release date has yet to be announced.
