The Nike Dunk Low Retro “Seal of Authenticity” keeps the usual Dunk look mostly intact, then has a little fun with the branding. A cartoon seal shows up on the tongue tags and insoles next to the “Seal of Authenticity” text, giving the shoe a retro Nike Sportswear vibe without turning the whole design into a gimmick.

Light blue suede covers nearly all of the upper, and the finish looks a little rougher than the usual leather Dunk. Navy leather Swooshes add contrast through the sides, with matching laces carrying that darker shade up top. The collar stays light blue with mesh lining, and the perforated toe keeps the standard Dunk Low look in place.

Cream suede at the heel breaks up the blue, finished with red Nike embroidery. Red also shows up on the tongue branding, which helps tie those smaller details together without adding another major color block.

Underneath, Nike goes with a full gum sole. The brown midsole and outsole give the shoe a warmer base and fit the retro Sportswear branding better than a standard white setup probably would.
