Mexican heritage and modern design are woven together in the Willy Chavarria x adidas Huarache.

The upper is made of black leather straps that have been hand woven in a traditional huarache sandal style. A rugged midsole with a chunky tread adds an urban trail-ready attitude and a nice contrast to the handcrafted upper. The weave of the straps adds unique texture and dimension to the shoe’s aesthetic, for a refined artisanal touch.

Minimal Chavarria and adidas logos on the heel and side keep the all-black silhouette sleek. The woven upper also adds flexibility and breathability, making the shoe functional and easily styled with socks or on its own. A chunky sole adds a stomp-ready attitude to the sneaker.

The sneaker drops October 31st overseas at retailers like BSTN. A wider launch has yet to be announced.
