For a sneaker that’s running quietly in the background but refuses to stop putting in work, you’ve got to check out the New Balance 530. DTLR has now decided to shine some more light on the sneaker with an exclusive kids colorway dubbed the “Silver Azure.”

Unlike most youth sneakers that are simply downsized versions of adult shoes, DTLR added something extra to the mix. The collaboration’s design offers a fresh layout featuring bold pops of azure blue on the outsole, lining, and accent details. The layered upper features silver mesh, white synthetic leather, and black hits to create a look that’s both daring and wearable. Branding elements like the black “N” logo and ABZORB cushioning on the midsole are a nice touch to the shoe’s retro-runner design.

This is yet another bright moment for the 530, which has been on the come-up for a while now. What started as an early 2000s performance sneaker has since turned into a lifestyle staple found on many city streets. And with drops like this, New Balance is showing that it’s not just following trends, but setting its own.

The DTLR x New Balance 530 “Silver Azure” will be available starting August 1, 2025 exclusively at DTLR. Kids sizes will retail for $80, while preschool and toddler sizes will be available for $75 and $65, respectively. It’ll be available online and at stores.

With its sleek colorway and focused design, this release should not be overlooked—especially if you’re building the next generation’s rotation early.
