The Kylian Mbappé x Nike Air Max Plus VII is stepping back into the spotlight as Nike continues the retro wave behind its reworked TN line. Mbappé has anchored several Air Max projects before, yet this one carries a different energy. It draws on no club association or national colours, and is solely about him.

The official photos also show a textured look that utilises deep browns, beige accents, and muted cactus-green highlights. The aesthetic is mature compared to previous TN partnerships which tended to favour more loud gradients or PSG-like colourways. Here, reflective silver elements add movement across the upper, creating a texture-heavy finish that fits the Plus lineage well. It’s a clean evolution of the model’s bubbled DNA, and the updated tooling gives it a sharper stance.

Custom “KM Air” branding appears on the tongue, heel, and insoles, marking this as a true signature concept. The way that detail functions gives the shoe a slight micro-shift from the common athlete-branded pairs and, as a result, a sneakerhead edge that has a way of being consistently appreciated among old school TN heads.
