Air Max Day isn’t just a way to pay homage to the past; it’s also a celebration of the future. And on this, the 30th anniversary of the introduction of Air Max, NIKEiD allows commemorative customization of both via one of two silhouettes, the Nike Flyknit Air Max 1 Ultra or Nike Air VaporMax (which launches at retail and NIKEiD on Air Max Day, March 26th).
Inspired by the instant classic 3.26 Air Max 1 released on the inaugural Air Max Day in 2014, both styles feature nods to the OG sport red colorway as well as a modern touch of Volt. Additionally, multicolor Flyknit uppers are available as an option for both silhouettes.
This year NIKEiD also introduces AIRMOJIs, a range of graphical icons which celebrating the heritage of Air — including the now iconic 3.26 graphic.
All the choices here celebrate the origins of Air Max on its 30th anniversary, bridge the gap to the future and salute past Air Max DNA with a modern twist; the future of fresh air.
The NIKEiD offering will be available for a limited time only on March 26th at Nike.com and select events across the globe.
