The Dior x Air Jordan 1 collaboration was one of the most anticipated sneaker releases of 2020, which was originally unveiled at the Dior Fall 2020 Runway show in December 2019.

According to chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture, Pietro Beccari, five million people signed up to buy the Dior Air Jordan 1s, who confirmed the numbers with WWD.
There were only 8,000 pairs of both the Air Jordan 1 High ($2,200) and Air Jordan 1 Low ($2,000) available while 5,000 additional pairs were given out to Dior’s top clients.
The Jordan Dior apparel capsule is still set to release on July 8th at select Dior stores.
