The X-Large x 24Kilates x Diadora N9000 Copito is an interesting collaboration that’s inspired by an albino gorilla.
Japan’s X-Large and Italian shop 24Kilates has teamed up with Diadora to release a special edition Diadora N9000. Combining the fact that Italy was known for the only albino gorilla, Copito, who died in 2003, as well as the Japanese streetwear brand having a gorilla logo, this inspiration made sense.
The Diadora N9000 features a mix of premium suede, nubuck, kangaroo leather, 3M reflective detailing and pony hair on the back heel to mimic the hair of the gorilla.
Limited to 1,000 pairs worldwide, the X-Large x 24Kilates x Diadora N9000 “Copito” will release through the X-Large Store in Harajuku, 24Kilates Barcelona and 24Kilates Bangkok. A limited stateside release will take place through UBIQ.
