PUMA and New York-based imprint Staple Design have teamed up to release their newest project using the iconic PUMA Suede and Blaze of Glory silhouettes.
The PUMA Suede receives the classic “Pigeon” color scheme coming in three different color options of Grey, Black and White. All three iterations includes Staple’s signature “Pigeon” motif on each of the shoe’s heels. They’re also completed with co-branding on the tongues.
The PUMA Blaze of Glory comes built in a combination of suede and mesh also using the “Pigeon” color scheme. Inspired by the concrete jungle that is New York City, the shoe comes equipped with PUMA’s Trinomic cushioning midsole, and speckled detailing throughout the upper.
Each pair has a specific meaning behind them. The PUMA Suede represents different regions with the “Star White” representing Americans, the “Frost Grey” for Europe and the Middle East, and the “Pure Black” for Asia.
All three of the Staple x PUMA Suede will release in exclusively throughout their regions. The Blaze of Glory will be available worldwide.
The only store carrying the entire collection is Staple’s Reed Space in their Lower East Side location and online on September 13th. A global release through select PUMA retailers will debut them on September 17th.
