New Jersey based Packer Shoes is back at it again with another New Balance collaboration as part of their Jersey Devil Collection.

Within the dense maze of pine trees, NJ’s most infamous urban legend has been known to terrorize unfortunate forest wanderers since the 1700s. While visual evidence of the mythical creature has been scarce, the beast is finally emerging from the darkness in the form of our sneaker homage.

Using the New Balance 580 as the silhouette, this release is inspired from both the forest and its most legendary inhabitant using murky Red tones spread across a variety of premium suedes and ballistic mesh. A Pine Forest graphic adorns the tongue label and inner lining, while 3M accents provide some vibrant pops against the Dark Red base.

The Packer Shoes New Balance 580 Pine Barrens will be limited to 500 pairs worldwide and will release along with matching apparel this Friday, March 25th, at both Packer Shoes locations and online.
