The members-only Nike SNKRS experience, designed to offer sneaker lovers unparalleled connectivity to their favorite franchises, news about the latest drops and seamless checkout, has been improved by the introduction of an updated iOS app, new app for Android, and an enhanced web experience on Nike.com.
The new updates provide individualized news and push notifications to SNKRS members, which combined ensure that consumers in the U.S. have the best access to all the latest shoe drops. Checkout is also designed for greater security. The additions of Touch ID, mobile multifactor authentication (MFA) and the use of PayPal and Nike Gift Cards advance cartless buying on all platforms.
The Draw, previously a stand-alone experience, is now an integrated feature of the SNKRS experience, accessible across both apps and Nike.com and levels the playing field for sneaker releases. The service, open to consumers for a pre-set amount of time, allows them to enter their product size and payment info for a chance to buy in-demand product. At the end of the allotted time, winners are randomly selected and receive a notification when their order is also being processed.
