The Michael J. Fox Foundation has announced that the Nike MAG draw and auctions have raised $6.75 million for Parkinson’s Research.
They took all the funds from the live auctions in Hong Kong and London, along with Nike’s The Draw system, where it cost fans $10 for a chance to win the power-lacing Nike Mags.
Hone Kong auction sold for $104,000, while London totaled $56,800. For The Draw, on the last day the Michael J. Fox Foundation matched dollar-for-dollar.
In 2011, $4.7M was raised for the Nike MAG, before Google’s Sergey Brin matched the amount raising it to a total of $9.4M.
