This Nike LeBron 12 EXT “Rubber City” dressed in a Black/Chrome colorway is the latest Nike LeBron 12 EXT edition to surface inspired by the Rubber City of Akron.
Nike LeBron 12 EXT Rubber City – Colorway Details
Much like the Nike LeBron 12 EXT “Red Rubber City” pair we saw LeBron James debut during All-Star Weekend, this “Black/Chrome” colorway highlights the same features.
This EXT version of the Nike LeBron 12 is dressed in an all-Black base hitting the Hyperposite overlay that is equipped with a tire treads-like design instead of the traditional Megafuse upper used on previous LeBron 12 releases – to pay homage to American tire and rubber company Goodyear in Akron. Other details include Chrome Nike Swooshes on the side that represent tire rims, as well as Chrome hitting the lace tips, the ‘330’ area code on the heel tab, finished with an icy translucent outsole.
