The Nike Kobe AD Compton release takes us to a city in southern Los Angeles. Noted as a Player Exclusive, this Nike Kobe AD has a bit of a twist behind the inspiration.
While Kobe Bryant spent his playing career in LA, this Nike Kobe AD is said to have ties to NBA superstar DeMar DeRozan, who was born and raised in Compton. DeRozan has been one of the lead athletes to wear the Kobe AD throughout the season.
Dressed in a Light Bone, White, Pale Grey and Vivid Sky color scheme. The shoe features a textured pattern upper with Marble detailing on the heel and special “City of Compton” graphic insoles. As a nod to the Lakers, Kobe’s logo on the tongue comes dressed in Purple and Gold.
