Having an almost similar build as the Nike KD 2 from the beginning days of Kevin Durant and Nike Basketball’s partnership. This newly mid-top version of the KD Trey 5 III is designed with a breathable mesh upper that is an ideal shoe to rock for outdoor basketball. The mid-foot strap locks you down keeping your forefoot in place at all times.

This “Nerf” like colorway is dressed in a full Purple-based upper that includes another shade of Purple on the laces, minor specks on the mid-foot strap – that you’ve commonly seen on the KD “Nerf” release, Flash Lime accents on the tongue, and branding logos, finished with Infrared on the inner liner and rubber outsole.

Check out the detailed photos of the latest colorway of the Nike KD Trey 5 III below and let us know what you guys think in the comments section. Should Nike have used this “Nerf” theme on the Nike KD 7 instead?

Stay tuned to Sneaker Bar to see if these will be making an appearance here in the states.

UDPATE: The Nike KD Trey 5 III “Nerf” has just became available for purchase through select Nike Basketball retail stores, including Sneaker Politics. The retail price tag is set at $115 USD.
