Nike has just cancelled another online release, but this time it’s two highly demanded pairs that we’ve all been waiting for, the “Chicago” and “Pinnacle” Air Jordan 1 releases.
In a statement regarding this cancelation, Nike reports that they want ‘real’ consumers having a fair chance to getting access to both releases. Due to bots taking over online launches and making it unfair for others to get a pair, Nike has now been forced to cancel both releases until further notice. The mainland China launch has also been canceled, but Nike still plans on releasing both Air Jordan 1 colorways to select Nike retailers and Nikestores for tomorrow’s launch.
A new online release date has yet to be announced, but Nike says an update will come soon, so stay tuned.
Apologies. We’re canceling the online launches of the AJ 1 Pinnacle & the AJ 1 High on 5/30. Learn more here: https://t.co/Be1cTq4dvX
